Today in class we learned how to write the equation of a line given the slope and y-intercept, the slope and a point on the line, or even given only 2 points on a line. The key to  our success with this was learning to use Point Slope Form to write equations. The notes come from section 2.4 in your textbook.
Tomorrow we will have a quiz over this material.  The homework for this section is due tomorrow in class before the quiz.

▫ #7-15 odd
▫ #21-24 all
▫ #28-34 Even

The quiz will cover: finding slope of a line given 2 points; using the vertical line test; determining if 2 lines are parallel, perpendicular, or neither; graphing an equation; and writing an equation using point slope form. Time after the quiz may be used to complete any missing work and/or to prepare for the Chapter 1 test retake if you need to do that.

Last day for test retake is Friday!
